MDE Tracking Number
Maryland Department of the Environment requires a tracking number for a lead certificate and registration of your pre-1978 rental property. Contact them directly at 410-537-4199 to get a tracking number.
Provide the following information to MDE.
- Owner's Name
- Owner's Phone Number
- Owner's Email
- Rental Property Address
- County of Rental Property
- Mailing Address
Property information should match the rental property's tax record information.
After you receive your tracking number you will be able to login to MDE’s online system and pay the $75 registration fee.
